Marty Majorowicz, a third-year band teacher at St. Elizabeth Seton School in Edmonton, was presented with the Alberta Band Association’s Keith Mann Young Band Director Award on Saturday November 1, 2008 at the Alberta Music Conference.
This award is presented in memory of Keith Mann and his dedication and commitment to music and music education.
It is presented to a young band director with less than six years teaching experience in the province of Alberta who displays Keith's enthusiasm and zest for music and for life. The award was presented by Michael Mann (Keith’s son) and ABA President Don Robb.
